O the pervasive, unknown power
I sense you through this Mother Nature .
it is the touch of your loving finger
that has given life to my mortal stature
and it is the breath of your eternal spirit
that fills up my lungs with life
You have blessed me with the bliss of the
uncertainty of my future
which leaves me ever enquiring
for a dreamy, delightful future
Its your dreams that are taken shape
as a colourful rainbow at the horizon
Its your mesmering voice, that we hear
from the holes of a bamboo flute
It’s the sculpture in you who made
The pearls and planets of this world
Through the birds on the pathless sky
may I reach you
By crossing the fathomless sea
may I reach you
Where should I search for you,
In this infinite, unknown, cosmic world

A question to God
O God the omnipresent
O God the omnipotent
O God the single creator
I wish to ask you a question
Which perturb my mind for long time
If you are the only creator,
of all the beauties of this world
of all the pleasures of this world
of all the virtues of this world
Then the forces we call as evil,
The acts we call as sin
are also a conception of yours
then, how can a man be called
a sinner - for pursuing a path shown by you
how can a thing be called ,
evil - for expressing your own thoughts
O God the omnipotent
O God the single creator
I wish to ask you a question
Which perturb my mind for long time
If you are the only creator,
of all the beauties of this world
of all the pleasures of this world
of all the virtues of this world
Then the forces we call as evil,
The acts we call as sin
are also a conception of yours
then, how can a man be called
a sinner - for pursuing a path shown by you
how can a thing be called ,
evil - for expressing your own thoughts
My dear ________
You are my dear________
When I met you first time
You were a stranger to me
I couldn’t think you would become
My friend and my lover one day
But, slowly through the days
You became best of my friends
But, you didn’t stop there;
With your freshness;
With your openness;
With your liveliness;
And some times
With your silly foolishness.
You took me closer to you
You made me loving you.
I was a man of rough,
You made me softer then
I didn’t know much about love
You thought me lessens of that
I never know the pain in love
Now I know the bitterness of that
You will be there in my heart
Till the end of my life.
When I met you first time

An Utopian Dream
My dreams are coloured…….
Coloured red and green and white and rose
The night is not so dark,
And wind is not so chill
The whistling of crickets,
Creeps through my ears,
And my bed is full of bugs.
Still I dream a dream ,
Which is cool and coloured and
Which I am afraid an utopian one…
I dream of a new world order,
Where there is no cast and creed and countries
To hinder the up flow of humanity
Where there is no terror and fear and war
Amongst the people who live on this earth
In my dream,
The bright and warm sunlight,
and the music of harmony of hearts,
were filled in everywhere..
In my dream,
The people were single coloured,
and followed a single religion, that
The religion of humanity
I know this is an utopian dream
Yet I love to dream this silly utopian dream
Coloured red and green and white and rose
The night is not so dark,
And wind is not so chill
The whistling of crickets,
Creeps through my ears,
And my bed is full of bugs.
Still I dream a dream ,
Which is cool and coloured and
Which I am afraid an utopian one…
I dream of a new world order,
Where there is no cast and creed and countries

I am afraid of my mind
The way it goes,
The way it feels,
The way it wants,
Makes me afraid again and again.
It never obeys any rules –
Laid down by the society –
Taught by my elders.
What is wrong we perceive –
Is always a dream of my mind.
What we believe is immoral –
It urges to get hold of that
My mind has always been a defiant child
Rebellious to all the ‘do’s and ‘don’t s’
I am afraid of my mind
The wildness of its dreams,
The warmth of its desires,
And the depth of its passions,
Makes me afraid again and again
I am afraid of my mind, because
If I look into a mirror,
I can see an animal-
Trying to break the cage-
In which it chained inside.

God’s Gift
What is the best of gift –
Given to man by God –
Is that his feisty brain ?
Is that his mighty hands ?
Is that his supple tongue ?
No it’s none of them
It’s an innate inability
Which turns as a bless, that is -
“Man can’t foresee his future”
If I can foresee my future –
I would be the laziest -
I would be the pessimist –
I would be the atheist –
I would be the terrorist-
But I can’t foresee my future –
So I work hard to make my future bright
So I be the optimist to give strength to my mind
So I believe in God who is the Redeemer
So I feel I‘d be accountable for my doings
Given to man by God –
Is that his feisty brain ?
Is that his mighty hands ?
Is that his supple tongue ?
No it’s none of them
It’s an innate inability
Which turns as a bless, that is -
“Man can’t foresee his future”
